Automated Lighting
Lighting can create a great atmosphere in your home but nobody wants the bother of adjusting lots of different lights all over the home just to set the scene. Instead, a lighting system installed by ControlMyAV.co.uk will allow you to pre determine several different 'lighting scenes' for any area of your home. You can even personally name each lighting scene to make it easy for you to remember e.g. perhaps a 'Home cinema' scene where all the lights drop to half power in the lounge area at the touch of a button, the choice is yours. And whilst this is a truly great feature it can also be energy saving and help to reduce your home’s personal CO2 emissions.
Curtain and Blind automation
If you have difficulty with mobility or you live in a larger property it can sometimes be a chore to go around the house opening or closing all the curtains but with our home automation systems it doesn't have to be. Electrical blinds can be controlled from the same touch screen controller as the lights so all you have to do is select ' lounge blinds' and press 'open' or 'close'. Or maybe control the whole house at the touch of a button! We can even programme the system so the blinds open or close at certain times of the day, perfect for when you go on holiday and want to confuse would be burglars!
Automated Climate Control
Instead of having to get up and go over to adjust the Thermostat on the wall we can easily incorporate climate controls into your home AV system. All you have to do it select the climate option on the touch screen controller and set your desired temperature, the control system will do the rest. You can also predetermine different temperatures for each room at certain times of the day and automate the whole process if you so wish.
